Network Marketing Tools and Resources

It's a fact that network marketing has its own challenges when it comes to building a business in this industry. Here are some helpful resources to help you build a better more profitable network marketing business:

Internet Network Marketing Training

Internet Network Marketing blog - My training blog full of good tips.

My Lead System Pro - The #1 premiere marketing system (the only one I still use today).

Magnetic Sponsoring - The training course that every network marketer should get. Learn more about it here.

Traditional Network Marketing Training

The trainers listed below are far and above the best in the network marketing industry. I say that after being in network marketing a few years and seeing:

1. How professional they are and...

2. That they have over 20 years of vast knowledge of prospecting in the network marketing industry.

Dani Johnson - From "scripts" to motivation to how to have posture to her emotionally charged seminars...she is one of the most talked about trainers in the home business industry.

Jeffrey Combs - Old school never completely goes out of style -why? Because it still works. This guy covers all bases and his training cds are a must-add to your training collection.

Todd Falcone - He's been training for years and his training is bar none one of the best in the industry. You'd be crazy to not listen to this guy and sit in on some of his training calls and webinars.

I hope you found this helpful!

Xango Review: Should I Join Xango?

Looking for an honest Xango review? Then you've come to the right place if you're looking to join Xango but want to do your due diligence first. You'll get the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I'm sure you've been searching all over the 'net for a real Xango review. I've checked out some of the websites out there that promise you a Xango review but in reality they either tell you nothing about Xango or they intentionally lie or make up stuff about the company - that's bad!

These people do a real disservice to the network marketing industry. Do you really have the time to sort out the truth from fiction when you're doing your research into Xango? Well of course not and you shouldn't have to.

Now on to...

The Xango Review

Xango has been around for several years and have done very well for itself. In fact it is one of the top producing network marketing companies of all time. Now here's the "double edge sword"...

Xango is no longer "new." A lot of people in the network marketing industry have heard of Xango, so Xango doesn't have that excitement  or "wow" factor as it did when it first was launched years ago. So, yes the new company excitement is gone with Xango just like with any other company that's been around for awhile.

It doesn't mean that Xango will never have that excitement back, but as of right now it's just another top producing network marketing company.

Some of the things that excited me about Xango was its branding, its embrace of the Internet, and the marketing systems created by its top distributors. Back when Xango got started in 2002 it was revolutionary to see all of these coming from a network marketing company.

Can You Still Make Money With Xango?

You can make money with anything as long as there's a market for the product(s) you're marketing. From an health and wellness business opportunity or network marketing standpoint there are some things you need to realize...

How is the Xango Business Opportunity?

From a business point of view where you're going to be recruiting a distributor network you want to understand what I wrote about Xango not being "new" anymore. Xango does have a good compensation plan but from what I heard there are a couple of other top producing companies who have better ones, for ex. Mona Vie.

With that said, you don't want to choose a company based solely on the comp plan. There are other things that must come into consideration like the management team, which by the way Xango has a top notch one, how long the company's been in existence, and the products the company sells.

Now Xango is a traditional network marketing company. What I mean by that is that your purpose is to build a distributor network, hopefully a large one. If you have no desire to build a distributor network or you want huge commissions upfront then a traditional network marketing company like Xango is not for you.

So, Ready to Join Xango? Well Not So Fast...

This Xango review was not designed to sway you one way or the other. Xango is a good company, but it's you that will determine your success...not Xango. The company is solid, but you must realize that you do have to build a network of distributors to make any kind of decent money.

If you're seriously looking at Xango, then the only other research you'll need to do next is find a good sponsor. The only reasons why you would even be "sponsor shopping" is that you're either looking for a team that has some tools/systems in place for to use or you want  a little hand-holding - which you may likely not get with a top distributor.

Choosing Your Distributor

First of all, you determine your own success. Signing up under a top distributor is by no means any guarantee that you'll have success too. Reach out on the social networks like Facebook and LinkedIn to find a distributor who is willing to talk to you and share with you some of things they are doing with their Xango business.

Overall...

I hope you found this Xango review helpful and if do join Xango I wish you all the best if not, I still wish you the best on your network marketing journey.

Home Business Marketing Made Easier

Home business marketing is easy when there's a lot of people who want what you have.

If you're looking to market your home business on the Internet, and frankly who isn't these days, then there are a few routes you can take.

If you want people finding your business opportunity or your business's products, then you'll want to make sure there are enough people who are searching them online.

Part of attraction marketing is attracting people through your content i.e. your videos, articles, blog posts, etc... You can center your content around what people are searching for.

It goes without saying that the proper keyword research is essential if you want to be successful with Internet attraction marketing or Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

If people aren't searching for your business opportunity, or your type of business opportunity or products, then you're going to have a very challenging time attracting people online - unless you're a big name trainer or recognized authority or leader in the industry.

Now this goes for when you're building your network marketing business directly, and not using a funded proposal, which is a topic for another day.

Which is why I like the nutritional and even the personal care market. There are many, many avenues and angles you can use to drive traffic to your business. Which makes it easier to build a business or marketing affiliate products in these particular industries.

Is it competitive? Heck yea! But if you're in an business or industry where there's no competition, then you're probably in an industry where there's also not a lot of buyers.

But a lot of people (and do I dare say companies?) don't go the distance in their marketing or don't know all the things us savvier Internet marketers know.

So, before you join a company, you'll want to make sure there is already a market for the that particular opportunity or type of opportunity if you're directly building your business and want targeted traffic.

If you want to market your company's products, then you'll want to make sure there's already an existing market of buyers for those kinds of products.

You don't have to join the Xango business opportunity, but you should do your research well before you commit your time and money and efforts to any business opportunity.

Is it as simple as building your business using a laptop while relaxing on a beach? Well, if you build your business by design and not by chance it can be. Home business marketing can be made easier...if you've done your homework and got the right training or mentor to guide you.

Add a Little Charity to Your Business

One thing that I have loved about this company (and even companies that are like this) is the fact that it gives back into the community...even if that community is a world away. We are all connected.

I know a lot of companies are not in a position to be giving away money to charities, and that's ok, but it would be nice that once they reached that pinnacle of success it would be something they could add to their business model.

Being in business is about helping yourself and your family, but it's also about helping other people once you're able to do so.

The meal packs are something a lot of distributors, including myself, have overlooked in our business.

Not only do you benefit as a distributor, of course, but you're helping feed children and hungry families.

If you're not familiar with XanGo Goodness, you may want to take a look at the good things this charity does.

If you're a Discover Mangosteen or My Jet Stream user, there's a webinar (Elevation Retreat) in the back office that talks about using the meal packs in your business.

Here's an example of a lead capture page that's in the works (if it doesn't pop open then it's been taken down), but click here charity landing page to see how it looks.

Note - The Celebrity Charity Banquet in Washtington DC on Sept 4th and 5th will be honoring XanGo Goodness.

Business Opportunity XanGo™

Business Opportunity XanGo

The question I see asked the most is, "what's XanGo" and how do you make money in this business opportunity? XanGo is the name of a functional health beverage that is similar to the Noni beverage.

I make the comparison, because a lot of people have heard of Noni juice. If you haven't well...

XanGo is a nutritional functional beverage that is made from a fruit called a mangosteen.

XanGo is also the name of the company that first brought this fruit to market in a functional health beverage. The manufacturer is a company called Wild Flavors. Wild Flavors also manufacturers Capri Sun, Red Bull, and other beverages of that ilk.

Now you know a little bit about the product and a bit about the company.

About Business Opportunity XanGo.

Xango is a network marketing company, so you can make money on the efforts of people in your organization, much like your supervisor gets paid on your efforts, even though you probably do most of the hard work!

Now, there two ways you can focus on building a XanGo business. You can build a sales force, or/and you can just market the xango juice. Some people do both, some people do one or the other.

It's your choice.

When deciding how to market business opportunity Xango, you can do many different things to get the word out about the opportunity and/or the product. From trade shows to juice parties to reaching out to influential people.

When you decide to become an Xango representative, your sponsor will give you ideas on how to build it.

Forbes Fall Flat!

What do you get when you mix Forbes magazine, a 40yr old preconceived notion, and bad journalism research?

The February issue expose' of XanGo LLC. in Forbes magazine. Here's one XanGo distributor's response to the high quality researched article (tongue in cheek).
Enjoy!

Corrisa
---------

Dear Editor:

As a longtime reader and respecter of Forbes, I was astonished, then appalled, and finally ashamed to see a blatant "hatchet job" such as that done on XanGo LLC and, by extension, the entire multilevel marketing industry, in your Feb. 25 issue.

And yes, I do have MLM experience, among others, with XanGo. However, I have also owned and managed mainstream businesses, including a marketing services/advertising agency with which I have been associated since 1986.

And, besides holding a degree from a print-oriented Journalism department at a notably liberal arts-oriented university (Ohio Wesleyan), I have hands-on experience with public and press relations, bylined media articles and corporate reportage in general. So I believe I have something to say.

First, where is the story? Helen Coster's article is a predictable "exposé" of pyramids and multilevel markets which says nothing new, except to target the most successful recent example of this type of company. It's unfortunate, because there is much that's new in this arena today.

Had your Senior Reporter been truly reporting, she might have asked how XanGo (and for that matter many recent MLM startups) differ from the "Amway" model, a brush with which she conveniently tars her subject, with no apparent effort to understand how multilevel marketing has evolved in the last 20 years. (And by the way, were I XanGo, I would consider bringing action for calling it a "pyramid marketing company.

" We all know that pyramids are illegal... multilevel marketing, on the other hand, is simply a distribution system which differs from the "traditional" model in how and whom it chooses to compensate for the movement of the products it promulgates. That the shape of the compensation matrix in such a program happens to look like a Pharaoh's tomb should be no more surprising than the fact that ANY organizational chart also resembles this "triangle in three dimensions." )

Secondly, did Ms. Coster even attempt to learn about the diverse business backgrounds of XanGo's corporate officers? The article does not even mention the company's Chairman, Gary Hollister, whose resume includes a stint at Merle Norman Cosmetics, for whom he oversaw a sales increase in the neighborhood of 400 percent, maybe more... nor does it point out the estimable success enjoyed by Aaron Garrity in the mainstream marketing arena, choosing instead to imply that his credentials for becoming CEO rested solely on his being "a colleague at Enrich."

(And while I'm nitpicking, I should be point out that Aaron was not "asked " to be chief executive; as a matter of fact, he was named to that position by the company's Board, only several years later, succeeding Mr. Hollister who was in fact the company's first CEO.

Finally, and most egregiously, either Forbes or Ms. Coster herself has set up your publication as an expert in judging medical science.

Yet nowhere on your Website or in your magazine have I ever seen a mission statement averring your raison d'etre as including a commitment to exposing fraudulent science, nor do I see on your masthead any editorial positions listed which would predispose me to believe that anyone on staff has the education or skill to independently judge medical evidence as reported by independent, peer-reviewed journals - such as those that were first relied on by the founders of XanGo at the time when they decided that their product was an idea whose time had come.

As a matter of fact, Ms. Coster, or her copy editor, has the chronology out of line again when she states that the Tohoku University paper was one of the many that was consulted at that time, when actually this important study on the abilities of certain xanthones to selectively inhibit the action of the cox-2 enzyme was not even published until September of 2004.

It's obvious that the article was conceived, "researched," written and edited with its direction already determined, to wit, that the MLM industry is peopled by shysters leading the naïve, and as a corollary, that no "natural" health and wellness product can be expected to ground its development and, thereby, its marketing, in anything remotely resembling objective fact.

Unfortunately, while both these biases may have taken root in historic behavior that is a matter of record, the truth is no longer so one-sided or clear cut.

Sadly, you missed the opportunity to tell a fascinating story from a balanced point of view (i.e., journalistically as I learned the meaning of the word). Unforgivably, you did it from the perspective that there is no story, only more of the same. And that just isn't so!

Planting Mangosteen and Other Tropical Trees Help Global Warming

Mangosteen

Medan Plants Trees and Then Some
Wednesday, December 12, 2007 11:51:54 AM
Jakarta Post

MEDAN, North Sumatra (JP): Wimpi Sugiono, 37, spreads his arms wide toward the 200 saplings. They reach an adult’s knee. The stands of saplings are placed three paces apart in neat rows in one quarter section of a 4,000 square meter level field.

In the background is a banner that reads: Kecil Menanam Besar Memanen, Bhayangkari Medan. (Plant Small Harvest Big, Bhayangkari, the association of the wives of police officers in Medan)

“These are mainly fruit trees. After they mature we can share them,” remarks Wimpi, a local repair shop owner who is a native of Ponorogo, East Java. Twenty years ago he settled in North Sumatra at the age of 17.

In time, the people of Bandar Setia, a village on the eastern outskirts of Medan, will enjoy a manna of sweet, tropical fruit: durian, manggis (mangosteen), belimbing (starfruit), and duku, jambu bol, asem (tamarind), to name a few. Non-fruiting trees that provide leafy foliage for shade have also been planted. These include the meranti (Shorea loprosula), mahoni (Swietenia mahagoni), and ketapang (terminalia catapa).

The previous week, Saturday, Dec. 1, the chair of the Bhayangkari Medan city branch, Meiledyawati Bambang Sukamto, ceremoniously planted the first batch of trees in this village field of public land left fallow.

“The planting is in line with the national tree planting initiative. The initiative gives a lot of benefits. It gives a green freshness to the village. Further, it helps to check global warming,” explains Jalaluddin, 38, the village head.

The Bhayangkari ladies came bearing 1,000 saplings. The remaining trees will be planted in the rest of the field and also in village households, said Jalaluddin, whose own modest house is endowed with two fully-grown mango trees that bear fruit year round.

Jalaluddin, a former school head of the local SMP (junior high school), says he is following the current Bali climate conference. “The climate is changing because plant cover is decreasing. Whatever government policy comes out that stems from the Bali meeting, I will carry it out if it’s for the people’s good.”

What can the government do now? Provide seedlings of crops that would increase the village people’s income, he exclaims giving mangoes as one example.

Bandar Setia is one of Indonesia’s more than 60,000 villages gearing up for the nation’s drive to plant 10 million trees. The considerable loss of the country’s tree cover from illegal logging, forest fires and degradation has made Indonesia a top emitter of greenhouse gases, a major cause of global warming. The plant drive aims to reverse that.

Medan, the capital of North Sumatra and Indonesia’s fourth largest city (after Jakarta, Surabaya and Semarang) has women’s organizations leading the planting campaign. Nanan Abdillah, the mayor’s wife, started the city drive at Pangkalan Mansyur, an 8,000 square meter field in Medan, Dec. 1. Similar drives were started across the nation on that date.

At least six women’s groups, including the Bhayangkari, have fanned out across Medan’s 21 kecamatan (subdistricts) and 151 kelurahan (villages) to plant 10,000 trees. The women’s organizations get the saplings from the city agricultural service. This office in turn receives its supply from the city’s Association of Plant Breeders.

The plant drive appears to be getting momentum. “It is not just the women’s groups or the government, however, that are involved in the tree planting. School children and private businesses are engaged too,” declares H. Arlan, 51, the public affairs chief at city hall.
He insists the tree plant drive is not a one-off thing. The city’s parks service has routinely spruced up the city streets and green belts as part of its regular work.

Backpacker guidebooks may label Medan as “noisy, dirty, crowded” or “filthy and chaotic.”
However, a slow drive from the Grand Mosque in the south to City Hall in the city center on Medan’s charming betor (becak bermotor, motorcycle-driven pedicab) shows the city streets are relatively garbage free. Tree-shaded lanes are still lacking, though.

How successful the tree planting initiative will be to make Medan green will depend on how well the local communities where the saplings have been planted can care for the trees. If a plant dies too quickly, it may be that the sapling was not appropriate to the soil where it was planted.

The appropriateness of a plant, the correctness in the method and the timing of its planting, and seedling selection are primary considerations other than post planting maintenance, Bogor Institute of Agriculture plant professor Supriyanto told Kompas recently.
If Bandar Setia’s seedlings grow well, the banner above the village field will live up to its message. (Warief Djajanto Basorie)
